New Year, New Goals

New school year that is! School officially started today and luckily i don't start class until tomorrow. I decided today would be the perfect day to make new goals and to start the year off right. When your a full time student your yearly schedule does not start in January, sadly everything revolves around the day the new fall semester begins. Officially a second year senior, a third year wife and a 5 month mom i am ready to hit my books and the gym (the gym more so than the books). So i wrote out my schedule and set to it.

My 8 a.m. gym session included a lot of stretching and a 30 minute elliptical run. Yes, that is it. Sadly my time was cut short by Sarah needing to get to class early. At least i got something in though and honestly it was probably enough for my first day back. Over the summer i only worked out a hand full of times so i am sure it would be smart for me to ease my way back into workout mode.

Today was also day one of going sober, from soda. Honestly a twelve step program may be needed to get me off of diet coke. I made it 9 months with out it though so i know it is possible and i know i will feel so much better with out it. Someone please convince me that i'm right about that though.

  1. Hahaha! YES you will definitely feel better getting off diet coke. BUT you must have it as a treat, especially when we hangout. That way I won't feel as guilty about my Dr Pepper :)
